Alrighty, Folks!  How was the first week of the new decade for ya?  Mine was rushing with excitement and anticipation for the wonderful Twenty-Ten that lies ahead!  I believe I am going to be surprised right out of my booties. …ok, i don’t wear booties, but it sounds cute. I think God only has incredible opportunities for me to experience this year, and I’m gearin’ up!

Enjoy part three of beautiful model, Dulguun… Yes, I believe this will be the last bunch. Enjoy!  And thanks again, Dulguun!  You’re great!

I had the privilege of being a photographer at Kansas City’s Pink and Black Ball supported by Club Release in efforts to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. It was incredibly fun meeting new faces in Kansas City and so many friendly people, backstage, onstage and out on the floor.  Fashion show, cupcakes and a live DJ… oh what a night! ;)  Here are a few of my favorites from the night. If you are interested in purchasing any prints for your portfolio (models and patrons) or would like to see more… click HERE.

This last image I thought was crazy impressive… shot with a 16mm @ 1/100 shutter, 3.2/f with an iso of 6400!!! and that’s with my backup camera, the Canon 50D! :) I was actually behind the DJ here.CONTACT ME!  VIEW MY PORTFOLIO!

Raw Pad Thai

November 2, 2009

My mom is awesome, therefore I’m spoiled quite frequently with healthy delectables.  Here shown is her latest experiment, “Raw Pad Thai,” from her newest cookbook, “Raw Everyday” by Matthew Kenney.  You can view my mom’s blog and get the recipe (soon) HERE or you can buy this cookbook HERE.  And just for the record… this was so incredibly tasty, I’ve eaten it four times in the last 48hrs!  Just to explain a bit, what you see is raw shaved jicama, green beans, sprouts, red peppers, cashews and two types of yummy cashew-based sauces with limey-nutty-goodness flavors.

How about a piece of international photographic art?!  I have traveled a lot in the past and have a ton of great images that look fabulous on walls.  Feel free to view more images on FACEBOOK or on my “commercial” WEBSITE.  Any image you see can be purchased at any size, any style (print, canvas, photo-book, etc).  Any image can be transformed into a black/white or sepia-toned.  Special Christmas print prices: 5×7 is $15, 8×10 is $20, 11×14 is $30, 16×20 is $50, 20×24 is $80.  Or… new product: Coffee Table Book!  Size of book is 11×15in. with up to 50 images or 30 pages… for $200.  I’m currently creating a Coffee Table Book with  photographs exclusively from Israel.   International shipping offered. Payments via cash, check or paypal. Happy-almost-Holidays!  [the photos below were taken in 1) Italy, 2) Jerusalem, 3) Myrtle Beach.]

A dear friend of mine has created a few masterpieces.  Meet the angels hand-crafted by Rhonda.  It is a gift to see a little bit of heaven right before our eyes.  I believe we will see more incredible pieces by Rhonda in the coming days.  If you are interested in purchasing an angel, Rhonda can be contacted by email: walk4him@sccoast.net.  Enjoy meeting the angels…

I thought it was pretty cool that Rhonda’s father was a photographer, and she has kept his camera!  I snapped a shot with Rhonda holding her dad’s Canon.  Rhonda shared a story with me that for punishment as a chid, she was made to develop film in her dad’s darkroom! How cool is that?! ha. :) kansas city photographer, commercial and wedding photographer
